EVENT CONTEST
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Open only to residents of the United States, except Florida, New York, Rhode Island, Washington and Puerto Rico, of the age of majority in their state of residence as of August 19, 2010, who have the capacity to enter into legally binding contracts and satisfy all eligibility requirements. Employees of the University of Nebraska Athletic Department ("Sponsor"), and members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
HOW TO ENTER: Log onto RedOutAroundTheWorld.com and place yourself on the map in order to be entered in the daily drawing and the grand prize drawing. Daily contests will start Thursday, August 19 and end Saturday, October 16, 2010. You only need to complete the map form one time to be eligible for each daily prize drawing and each entry will only be eligible to win one daily prize throughout the "Red Out Around The World" event. Daily prize winners who have entered prior to October 2, 2010 will be eligible to win the Grand Prize. All entrants who place themselves on the map after October 2, 2010 will only be entered into the daily drawings. Each timely submitted complete entry will be eligible for the daily drawing. There will be one winner per day. Each drawing will be conducted at random by officials or representatives of the Sponsors. ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF ENTRY: As an alternative to entering pursuant to paragraph A above, you may enter by delivering your name, complete address, phone number date of birth, all legibly handwritten on a 3" x 5" piece of paper, to the UNL Athletic Marketing office at One Memorial Stadium, Lincoln, NE 68588. Or the 3" x 5" piece of paper may be mailed to: University of Nebraska Athletic Department, Red Out Around the World, One Memorial Stadium, Lincoln, NE 68588. SELECTION OF WINNERS /ELIGIBILITY AND PRIZE: Entries that are incomplete, illegible or damaged are void and will not be accepted or eligible. Only legible and complete entry forms will be accepted and eligible. Sponsor is not responsible for misdirected, lost, late or damaged entries. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. DAILY PRIZES: As a thank you for participating in the "Red Out Around The World" event, every Husker fan that puts themselves on the map will be entered for a chance to win a daily prize ranging from Adidas gear to autographed memorabilia to electronics provided by Nebraska Furniture Mart. Every morning beginning August 19, 2010, the winner of the daily prize will be randomly chosen and posted on the front page of RedOutAroundTheWorld.com, so visit the site daily to see if you are a winner. Daily drawing will begin Thursday, August 19, 2010 and continue through Saturday, October 16, 2010. If the Sponsor is unable to locate a given winner, an alternate winner will be selected by a random drawing. All prizes are non-transferable. No cash or other substitutions are allowed. Omaha World-Herald, University of Nebraska and Nebraska Alumni Association employees and their immediate families are not eligible for prizes. GRAND PRIZE; One Husker fan will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries as of October 2, 2010 as the winner of the Grand Prize which includes two game tickets to the Nebraska vs Texas football game on Saturday, October 16, 2010 and a two-night stay for October 15 & 16 at the Holiday Inn Lincoln Downtown. Transportation costs to the same and all other incidentals (e.g. meals) are the responsibility of the winner. DISCLAIMER: Winners assume all liability for any injury or damages caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the contest and/or the acceptance and/or use of any prize and releases the Sponsor and each of its respective owners, affiliates, officers, directors and employees, from any such liability. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. If a dispute arises regarding who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the person in whose name the entry was made. By entering this contest, each entrant agrees that (i) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the drawing or the prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (ii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs, directly or indirectly associated with entering this contest, but in no event will attorneys' fees be awarded or recoverable; and (iii) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby knowingly and expressly waives all rights to, any damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. IN NO EVENT SHALL SPONSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF IT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF THE DAMAGES. IN ANY EVENT THE MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF SPONSOR TO ANY PERSON DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY RELATING TO THIS PROMOTION OR THE AWARD, USE OR ENJOYMENT OF ANY PRIZE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE SUM OF $5.00.
