Burroughs aims for Olympics
The Husker star is eager to accomplish more at the international level. Jordan Burroughs' rsum is enough to make most wrestlers salivate. His five-year run of dominance — he missed almost all of 2010 with a knee injury and received a medical redshirt — is rare at the collegiate level. For most guys, such a career would be more than satisfying, a feast of nothing but good memories to look back on. Not Burroughs.

Huskers' Burroughs wins 2nd title; Iowa finishes 3rd
Nebraska's Jordan Burroughs surprised himself with his dominance en route to his second NCAA wrestling championship. And he figures he proved a point to some skeptics. Burroughs was sidelined last season with a knee injury. “A lot of people told me I'd never feel the same, that I wouldn't be as quick or as strong,” he said.

Burroughs has his eyes on a final prize
The gyms were mostly empty on those cold winter mornings, except for a few guys mopping the wrestling mats, and the little kid staring at the rows of towering trophies. Leroy Burroughs used to get his son Jordan to the wrestling tournaments a little early, so the boy could marvel at the tall, gaudy trophies topped with muscular, golden grapplers. Dad’s scheme usually worked, too, and his son was often lugging those oversized prizes out to the car hours later.
