NASSAU, Bahamas — Freshman Avery Dingman scored 24 points Tuesday as Creighton closed its four-game exhibition tour with a 104-53 rout of the Real Deal Shockers.

The Bluejays won all four games, outscoring their opponents by an average of 98.8 to 71.2 per contest.

Dingman made 7 of 9 shots, including 5 of 6 from 3-point range, in the lopsided win that saw Creighton shoot almost 50 percent from the field and outrebound its opponent 64-32.

Will Artino and Geoffrey Groselle each had 11 rebounds for the Bluejays. Artino also scored 17 points in posting his second double-double of the trip, while Doug McDermott added 15 and Antoine Young 12 to go along with eight assists.

Creighton's starting lineup consisted of McDermott, a sophomore, and the team's four true freshmen — Dingman, Groselle, Austin Chatman and Nevin Johnson.

The Bluejays made their first seven shots and went on a 23-0 run that turned a 9-5 lead into a 32-5 bulge at the end of the first quarter. McDermott had nine points in the opening quarter, while Dingman had eight.

The Bluejays led 49-16 at halftime and used a variety of lineups in the second half. Dingman, who had 11 of his points in the fourth quarter, pushed Creighton over the 100-point mark with a 3-pointer with 49 seconds remaining.

McDermott led the Bluejays in the four games, averaging 24.3 points while shooting 66.1 percent from the field. He also grabbed 9.8 rebounds a game, while Artino, a redshirt freshman, averaged 10.3 points and 11.0 rebounds per game, and Dingman 9.0 points.

Chatman led the team with 30 assists, while Young had 23.

The team will return to Omaha late Wednesday.
