A private memorial service for Dr. Richard Bradley Davis, a longtime faculty member at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, was held Friday in Minneapolis.

In 2008 he established the Davis History of Medicine Lectureship at the McGoogan Library of Medicine at UNMC. The annual lecture brings in nationally known speakers to address the process of scientific discovery.
