Jim Wagner, CLU, ChFC, CLTC will be recognized at MassMutual Leader's Club this summer as the product leader for long-term care insurance. His 2010 production led the entire field force of 5,000 agents. He has been heavily involved in the long-term care insurance area since 2000.
Wagner joined the Lincoln office of Continuum Financial, a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. (MassMutual), after graduating from the University of Nebraska in 1971. DAAKE


Neenah Paper has selected DAAKE, a modern design consultancy that specializes in comprehensive re-brandings, to receive a Bronze Award in their Paperworks Design Contest. The selection came as a result of the company's work on the DAAKE stationery system. DAAKE collaborated with Field Paper and Barnhart Press to produce the system.
"We are thrilled to have been recognized by Neenah," said agency principal Greg Daake, "To be chosen out of all the submissions in the multi-state area that makes up the central region is a great honor."

Steven D. Wegner

The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), a professional association of more than 35,000 general dentists who are dedicated to professional excellence through the pursuit of continuing education, is pleased to announce that Steven D. Wegner, DDS, MAGD, of Omaha, has earned the 2011 Lifelong Learning & Service Recognition (LLSR) for his commitment to lifelong learning, volunteering his services to communities in need, mentoring associates and new dentists, and participating in organized dentistry.
The LLSR is presented only to AGD members who have gone above and beyond earning the association's highest honor of mastership. To accomplish this recognition, Dr. Wegner completed at least 1,600 hours of continuing dental education in 16 different dental disciplines. In addition, recipients must complete at least 100 hours of dental-related community or volunteer service.
"Recipients of the LLSR are true leaders among our organization and wholly embrace the AGD's core principles and ideals," says AGD President Fares M. Elias, DDS, JD, FAGD. "For Dr. Wegner, this award symbolizes a career of excellence in dentistry and demonstrates the characteristics of a role model to his fellow dentists and to members of the community."
Dr. Wegner graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1979 and currently practices dentistry in Omaha. In addition to the AGD, Dr. Wegner is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and the American Dental Association, among others.
Dr. Wegner and his wife, Terri, have two adult children.
Since its inception in 2005, only 137 of the AGD's 35,000-plus members have received the prestigious LLSR recognition. Dr. Wegner is the second AGD member from Nebraska to receive the LLSR.

Laine Norton


The University of Nebraska Foundation welcomes Laine Norton as assistant director of development for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business Administration.
She will assist the foundation in establishing relationships with individuals and organizations interested in supporting the university through charitable giving.
Norton joins Matt Boyd, managing director of development, and Sandi Hansen, director of development, in raising funds for UNL's College of Business Administration.

Miniussi's understanding of the the needs of seniors is based on his own personal experience. He was a caregiver for his father, who suffered from ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Prior to becoming a Home Instead Senior Care Master Franchisee he owned and operated a successful IT staffing firm.
Currently there are about 12 million older adults over the age of 65 in Italy representing more than 20 percent of the population. By 2050, the population of seniors is expected to increase by more than 44 percent.

Davis earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from Creighton University and was a practicing CPA prior to joining Catholic Mutual 23 years ago as an accounting manager. She was promoted to the position of director of finance in 1998 and to assistant vice president in 2009.
