Crawford man killed by train

CRAWFORD, Neb. (AP) — Officials say a 38-year-old man was killed when he was struck by a train as he stood between the tracks in Crawford.

The Dawes County Sheriff�s Office said Cody Raben was struck around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Raben, of Crawford, was taken to Chadron Community, where he was pronounced dead.

The sheriff�s office said Raben may have been drinking alcohol before the incident.
