A Bellevue, Neb., teenager was injured Sunday in a two-car traffic accident in Mills County, Iowa.
Authorities said Jillian McGlothlin, 18, was taken to Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs after she turned onto Highway 370 from 189th Street just south of Council Bluffs and northwest of Glenwood and the 2000 Volkswagen Beetle she was driving was struck by an SUV.
That vehicle, a 1994 Ford Explorer, struck the front driver's corner of McGlothlin's VW, authorities said. The Explorer was driven by Tristan Rackley, 24, of Bellevue.
Monday, hospital officials said McGlothlin had been released.
