Congratulations to all involved in acquiring memorabilia for display at the Senator George Norris State Historic Site in McCook. The Senator George W. Norris Foundation, a pledge from current Sen. Ben Nelson and the help of estate executor Ellen Bartley Robertson and David Norris Rath, a great-grandson of the lawmaker, combined to land heirlooms from the late senator�s Wisconsin lake cabin. The items, including an antique desk and several political cartoons, will be valuable in giving Nebraskans a look into the life of the state�s most influential lawmaker.
