"Life As We Know It" 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., HBO (2010)

This dramatic comedy is about two singles who become the caregivers to an orphaned daughter of their mutual friends. Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel star.

"Max Max Beyond Thunderdome" 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., AMC (1985)

Post-apocalyptic action more your speed? Try this Mel Gibson (Mad Max) movie about man who becomes a pawn in a fractured society. And, when exiled, delivers a colony of kids to safety.
