• Hamburg, Iowa, suffers another blow: After a summer of battling Missouri River flooding, the southwest Iowa town learns that ConAgra Foods is closing its microwave popcorn production plant and 95 jobs will disappear.
• Zesto unveils a new look for its planned north downtown Omaha shop near TD Ameritrade Park: A 1-story building featuring a brick and glass window front.
• The expectations remain high for the national powerhouse NU women's volleyball team, even though Coach John Cook has five freshman on the roster and three new assistant coaches.
